The NORDIC PURE 18x30x1PM8C-3 is a MERV 8 pleated plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter uses a dual-layer construction where MERV-rated pleated media is fused with an activated carbon layer, resulting in 33 percent more surface area and reduced airflow restriction compared to single-layer designs. The carbon layer attracts and holds odorous gases, vapors, and VOCs while the pleated media captures airborne particulates. Permanently electrostatically charged media acts as a magnet for dust and fine particles. This pack contains 3 filters with a nominal size of 18x30x1 inches and an actual size of 17.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches.

This filter is suited for residential furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems where both particulate control and odor reduction are priorities.
