The NORDIC PURE 18x28x1ExactCustomM13-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC and furnace air filter rated MERV 13, sold in a 6-pack. Each filter measures 18 x 28 x 0.75 inches actual size and is hand-built to exact dimensions using a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame. The electrostatically charged filter media captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. This includes dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, virus carriers, and smog. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install these filters in residential and light commercial forced-air systems where standard nominal sizes are not available.

These custom filters are designed for forced-air HVAC systems where the return air opening or filter housing requires a non-standard size. The nominal size is 18 x 28 x 1, with an actual size of 18 x 28 x 0.75 inches. Depending on the exact dimensions ordered, construction may involve cutting down or combining one, two, or three filter frames, and tape may be used in fabrication. MERV 13 is comparable to MPR 2200-2400 and follows the ASHRAE filtration efficiency standard.
