The NORDIC PURE 18x24x4PM12C-6 is a MERV 12 pleated plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter combines a MERV 12-rated filtration layer fused with an activated carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while providing 33% more surface area compared to standard pleated designs. The activated carbon captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while the pleated media traps airborne particulates. The filter captures more than 90% of 3.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 90% of 1.0-3.0 micron contaminants. Sold as a 6-pack, this product is installed by HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners performing routine filter maintenance.
