The NORDIC PURE 18x24x1PCP-6 is a pleated activated carbon air filter sold in a 6-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The filter media combines a non-woven polyester base infused with naturally derived charcoal and coconut shell carbon to capture airborne particles and absorb odors and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at the molecular level. Rated at approximately MERV 8, it targets particles including dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, and lint. The pleated construction delivers three times the carbon surface area of a flat-panel carbon filter while maintaining adequate airflow through the system.
