The NORDIC PURE 18x20x1M14+C-2 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The electrostatically charged synthetic media captures fine airborne particulates while the activated carbon panel adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Each filter has an actual size of 17.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches and is sold in a 2-pack. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and a bonded metal mesh support grid reinforces the pleats under airflow. Antimicrobial treatment in the media prevents bacterial and mold growth within the filter itself, supporting air quality between replacements.

This filter is suited for forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems in residential homes and offices where both fine particulate control and odor reduction are priorities. It performs well in newer, high-efficiency HVAC systems designed to accept filters rated MERV 14 and above.
