Nordic Pure 18x18x1PolyGreen-2 Air Filter Merv 6 2-pack

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 18x18x1PolyGreen-2 is a MERV 6 polyester air filter sold in a 2-pack, designed for use in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The filter captures airborne particles including dust, pollen, and common household allergens at the MERV 6 efficiency level, making it a practical choice for standard air quality maintenance. The actual dimensions are 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches, fitting filter slots with a nominal 18x18x1 designation. HVAC technicians and maintenance professionals install these as routine replacements in forced-air systems. The poly green construction uses environmentally responsible materials manufactured in the USA.

These filters are suited for residential forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems that accept a nominal 18x18x1 filter. The 2-pack format supports scheduled filter changes, which is standard practice for maintaining system airflow and indoor air quality. Typical applications include single-family homes, apartments, and small commercial spaces where MERV 6 filtration meets the system design requirement. Each filter is individually sized to fit snugly, reducing bypass around the filter frame.

Installation Notes

A licensed HVAC technician or qualified maintenance personnel should shut off the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Standard filter replacement requires no tools beyond the replacement filter itself. Follow local building codes and the equipment manufacturer service guidelines for recommended replacement intervals.
