Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 18x18x1M14-24 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems requiring high-efficiency particulate capture. Sold in a 24-pack, each filter measures 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches actual size with a nominal size of 18 x 18 x 1 inches. The electrostatically charged, hypoallergenic filter media captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, bacteria, dust mite debris, and smog. The media is antimicrobial and will not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. The frame is constructed from heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board.

These filters are rated for environments where air quality demands are elevated. MERV 14 filtration is equivalent to MPR 2800 and is appropriate for high-efficiency residential systems, commercial HVAC units, and applications serving occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities. Because MERV 14 media increases static pressure drop across the air handler, the HVAC system must be rated to support MERV 14 or higher before installing these filters.
