The NORDIC PURE 17x21x1ExactCustomM13+C-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC and furnace air filter rated MERV 13 with activated carbon, sold in a 6-pack. It is made from electrostatically charged synthetic filter media designed to capture a broad range of airborne particulates, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses. The MERV 13 rating means the filter captures over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. The added carbon layer addresses odors. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install these filters in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.
