The NORDIC PURE 16x25x5HPM10C-2 is a MERV 10 pleated plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems. Sold as a 2-pack, each filter uses a dual-layer media construction that bonds a MERV 10-rated filtration layer directly to an activated carbon layer. This design reduces airflow restriction while delivering 33 percent more surface area compared to single-layer pleated media. The activated carbon captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the pleated media traps particulate matter including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and virus carriers. The filter frame is constructed from heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board, and a metal mesh support grid is bonded to the pleats for structural integrity during operation.

This filter is rated for standard forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems that accept a 16x25x5 nominal filter slot with an actual depth of 4 3/8 inches. It is intended for installation by HVAC technicians or qualified service professionals during routine maintenance.
