The NORDIC PURE 16x25x4PM10C-6 is a pleated plus carbon HVAC air filter sold in a 6-pack, rated MERV 10 for residential and light commercial forced-air systems. The filter media fuses a MERV-rated pleated layer with an activated carbon layer, which reduces flow restriction while increasing surface area by approximately 33 percent compared to a standard pleated design. The activated carbon component captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the pleated media traps airborne particulates. A heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and a bonded metal mesh support grid hold the pleats in place under sustained airflow. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified service professionals typically handle installation in residential furnaces and air handlers.

This filter is designed for nominal 16x25x4 filter slots. The actual size is 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches, which is critical to confirm before ordering. At MERV 10, the filter captures more than 85 percent of 3.0-10.0 micron particles and up to 65 percent of 1.0-3.0 micron particles, making it effective against lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smoke particles, virus carriers, bacteria, mold spores, and allergens. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 3 to 6 months, though replacement intervals may be shorter in homes undergoing renovation or with high dust loads.
