The NORDIC PURE 16x25x3ABPM12C-7 is a pleated MERV 12 air filter with an activated carbon layer, sold in a 7-pack, designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems that require a 3-inch-depth filter. The dual-material construction fuses the MERV 12 filter media with a carbon layer, reducing airflow restriction while adding 33 percent more surface area compared to standard single-layer designs. The carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOC), and the MERV 12 media captures lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smoke particles, virus carriers, bacteria, and mold spores. HVAC technicians and homeowners servicing forced-air systems install this filter in place of standard 16x25x3 nominal filters.

This filter is engineered to fit systems requiring a true 3-inch actual depth. Unlike many nominal 3-inch filters, the actual depth of this filter is exactly 3 inches. Nominal dimensions are 16x25x3; actual dimensions are 15.81 x 24.31 x 3 inches. It is a direct replacement for Trion Air Bear Cub filters and other systems specifying an actual 3-inch-depth slot. Installation Notes
