The NORDIC PURE 16x25x3ABM13+C-1 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter with an activated carbon panel, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a 3-inch depth. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures fine airborne particulates, while the flat activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Rated MERV 13, it targets particles down to the submicron range, including virus carriers, bacteria, mold spores, smoke, and fine dust. The beverage board frame is moisture resistant and includes two strips of foam tape on two sides plus a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for structural integrity. It is installed by HVAC technicians and service professionals.
