The NORDIC PURE 16x25x1M7+C-2 is a MERV 7 pleated air filter with activated carbon, sold in a 2-pack, designed for residential HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures airborne particulates. A flat activated carbon panel is bonded to the assembly to adsorb odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The frame is constructed from moisture-resistant beverage board with a metal mesh support grid bonded directly to the pleats for structural integrity.
