The NORDIC PURE 16x24x4M13+C-6 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter with activated carbon, sold in a 6-pack. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures airborne particulates down to 0.30 microns. A flat activated carbon panel is bonded to the assembly to adsorb odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Rated MERV 13, this filter captures more than 90% of 1.0-10.0 micron particles and up to 75% of 0.30-1.0 micron particles. HVAC technicians and property managers install these in residential and light commercial forced-air systems where both particulate control and odor reduction are required.
