The NORDIC PURE 16x24x2PM10C-12 is a dual-media pleated air filter combining a MERV 10 electrostatic filtration layer with an activated carbon layer fused directly to it. This construction captures airborne particulates while simultaneously adsorbing odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The result is 33% more surface area than a single-layer pleated filter and lower airflow restriction compared to standard high-MERV designs. Each filter measures 15.5 x 23.5 x 1.75 inches actual size and ships in a 12-pack. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install these as part of routine residential or light-commercial air handler and furnace maintenance.
