The NORDIC PURE 16x21x1CustomM14+C-6 is a custom-cut, MERV 14-rated pleated air filter with an integrated carbon layer, sized at a nominal 16x21x1 inches with an actual size of 15.5 x 20.5 x 0.75 inches. It is made from electrostatically charged synthetic media that captures over 90 percent of airborne particles in the 1-10 micron range and 75 to 95 percent of particles in the 0.3-1 micron range. The carbon layer addresses odors in addition to particulate capture. This filter is sold as a 6-pack and is designed to fit residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems where a non-standard filter opening requires a custom size. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers handle typical installation.
