The NORDIC PURE 16x20x4M12-1 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter designed for residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems. It uses electrostatically charged synthetic filter media to capture airborne particulates across a broad size range, including particles from 1.0 to 10.0 microns. The filter captures more than 90% of 3.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 90% of 1.0-3.0 micron contaminants. The nominal size is 16x20x4 inches, with an actual size of 15.5 x 19.5 x 3.63 inches. It ships as a single filter and is installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners performing routine filter maintenance.

This filter fits standard 16x20x4 filter slots in residential furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems. The MERV 12 rating makes it well-suited for households with allergy concerns, pets, or elevated indoor air quality requirements. It is equivalent in performance to filters rated MPR 1500-1900. Note: if the existing filter in the system has an actual depth of 4.375 inches, such as certain Honeywell or Lennox units, the correct replacement is the 16x20x5 variant with a 4.375-inch actual depth, not this filter.

Installation Notes
