The NORDIC PURE 16x18x1CustomM12+C-6 is a custom-made pleated carbon air filter rated MERV 12 with activated carbon media, sold in a 6-pack. It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning air handlers. The filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns. This includes lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses. The carbon layer addresses odors that standard MERV 12 media alone does not handle.
