The NORDIC PURE 16x16x1PCP-3 is a pure carbon pleated air filter rated MERV 8, sold in a 3-pack. The filter media is a non-woven polyester base infused with activated charcoal and coconut-shell-derived carbon, designed to absorb odors on a molecular level while simultaneously capturing large airborne particles. The pleated design delivers three times the carbon media surface area compared to flat-panel carbon filters, maintaining good airflow without sacrificing adsorption capacity. The frame is a moisture-resistant beverage board with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats. Each filter has a nominal size of 16x16x1 inches and an actual size of 15.75 x 15.75 x 0.75 inches.
