The NORDIC PURE 16x16x1M7+C-4 is a pleated MERV 7 air filter with activated carbon, sized at 16x16x1 inches nominal and sold in a 4-pack. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material bonded to a flat activated charcoal panel. This dual-stage construction captures airborne particulates while the activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The result is both particulate reduction and odor control in a single filter change. Licensed HVAC technicians and service professionals install these during routine maintenance on residential forced-air heating and cooling systems.
