The NORDIC PURE 14x30x1M14+C-2 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 2-pack. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures fine airborne particulates, while the activated carbon component adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). At MERV 14, this filter stops dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, bacteria, and dust mite debris. The nominal size is 14x30x1 inches with an actual size of 13.94 x 29.94 x 0.75 inches. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

This filter is suited for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems that are rated to handle MERV 14 filtration or higher. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified DIYer. Set the system thermostat to the off position and shut down the air handler before removing the old filter. Confirm the airflow arrow on the filter frame points toward the blower. Because MERV 14 media creates higher static pressure than lower-rated filters, verify the system blower is rated to operate at this restriction level before install.
