The NORDIC PURE 14x25x1PM8C-3 is a pleated MERV 8 plus activated carbon air filter sold in a 3-pack for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The filter uses a dual-layer media construction where a MERV 8-rated filtration layer is fused with an activated carbon layer. This design captures airborne particulates while the carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including pet odors, cooking smells, and smoke. The media is permanently electrostatically charged, which helps attract and hold fine dust and particulates. The frame is constructed from moisture-resistant beverage board with a bonded metal mesh support grid for structural integrity during operation.

This filter is suited for forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems in residential homes and offices. It is an appropriate choice for households with pets, cooking odors, or occupants sensitive to airborne allergens. The filter targets lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, bacteria, and other common airborne contaminants. Installation Notes
