The NORDIC PURE 14x25x1M10MiniPleat-2 is a MERV 10 mini pleat air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, sold in a 2-pack. With a nominal size of 14x25x1 and an actual size of 13.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches, this filter fits standard furnace and air handler filter slots requiring that nominal dimension. The mini pleat construction uses 2.5 times more pleats than conventional pleated filters, increasing surface area for more efficient particle capture while maintaining airflow. The polyester filter media is self-supporting and rated MERV 10, equivalent to MPR 800-1000, making it effective at trapping mid-range airborne particulates.
This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and light commercial air handlers where a 14x25x1 nominal filter slot is present. Typical applications include single-family homes, condominiums, and small office environments. NORDIC PURE recommends changing this filter every 2 to 3 months depending on household conditions such as pets, occupancy, or ongoing renovation work. The 2-pack format supports a standard change interval without requiring a separate reorder after each replacement.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a nominal 14x25x1 air filter. Always verify the actual opening dimensions against the filter actual size of 13.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ across equipment manufacturers.
Air filter replacement is a standard HVAC maintenance task performed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable building owners. Before replacing the filter, set the thermostat to the off position to stop airflow through the system. Confirm airflow direction marked on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow in the duct or air handler cabinet before securing the filter in place. Replace every 2 to 3 months under normal conditions, or more frequently in high-dust or high-occupancy environments.
