The NORDIC PURE 14x22x1ExactCustomM13-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC furnace air filter rated MERV 13, sold in a pack of six. It is designed for forced-air HVAC systems in residential and light commercial applications. The filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. Targeted contaminants include lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, virus carriers, and smog. The electrostatically charged filter media attracts unwanted particles without promoting bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable end users perform routine replacement of this filter.

This filter is built for standard 1-inch filter slots in residential and commercial forced-air systems. The nominal size is 14x22x1 with an actual size of 14 x 22 x 0.75 inches. Because this is a custom-made filter, dimensions are cut to exact specifications at time of manufacture. It is suited for installations where standard stock sizes do not fit the unit. Replacement is recommended every 1 to 3 months, or more frequently in environments with pets, allergy sufferers, or ongoing construction and renovation activity. MERV 13 performance is comparable to filters rated MPR 2200 to 2400 under other manufacturer rating scales.

Installation Notes

Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.
