The NORDIC PURE 14x20x1PCP-3 is a pure carbon pleated air filter rated MERV 8, sold in a 3-pack with a nominal size of 14x20x1 inches and an actual size of 13.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. The filter media is a non-woven polyester base infused with activated carbon derived from charcoal and coconut shells. It captures large airborne particles while simultaneously absorbing odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on a molecular level. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install this filter in residential forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems.
