The NORDIC PURE 14x20x1M11MiniPleat-3 is a MERV 11 rated Tru Mini Pleat air filter sold in a 3-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter carries a nominal size of 14x20x1 inches with an actual size of 13.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. The filter media is self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber housed in a 2-part moisture-resistant beverage board frame. With 2.5 times more pleats than standard pleated filters, the increased surface area captures a broader range of airborne particles while maintaining acceptable static pressure drop across the system. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified installers handle the replacement as part of routine preventive maintenance.
This filter suits residential forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and central AC systems where a nominal 14x20x1 inch slot is specified. It targets common contaminants including lint, household dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, and allergens. The MERV 11 rating is equivalent to MPR 1000-1200, placing it in a range appropriate for households with pets, allergy sensitivities, or occupants concerned with indoor air quality. Nordic Pure recommends replacement every 2 to 3 months depending on environment and system load, or more frequently during renovations or high-dust activities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a nominal 14x20x1 inch air filter. Always verify the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 13.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ.
Filter replacement is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel; always set the system thermostat to the off position and shut down power at the disconnect or breaker before opening the filter compartment. Install with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower and away from the return air duct. Inspect the filter slot for bypass gaps before closing the access panel. Dispose of used filters according to local waste guidelines.
