The NORDIC PURE 14x18x1PM8C-24 is a MERV 8 pleated plus activated carbon air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter uses a dual-layer media construction that fuses MERV-rated filtration material with an activated carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while increasing surface area by approximately 33 percent. The activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the electrostatically charged pleated media captures airborne particulates. HVAC technicians and facility maintenance professionals install these filters in forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems where both particulate and odor control are required. The pack includes 24 individual filters.

These filters are suited for residential homes and light commercial spaces where occupants deal with pet odors, cooking smells, smoke particles, pollen, dust mites, mold spores, lint, household dust, pet dander, and bacteria.
