The NORDIC PURE 14x18x1PM12C-3 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 3-pack. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV 12-rated filtration media with activated carbon to capture airborne particulates while simultaneously adsorbing odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The result is reduced flow restriction and approximately 33% more surface area compared to single-layer designs. The filter media is permanently electrostatically charged and carries antimicrobial properties to inhibit bacterial and mold growth within the filter. The nominal size is 14x18x1, with an actual size of 13.5 x 17.5 x 0.75 inches. Installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable end users in residential and light commercial forced-air systems.
