The NORDIC PURE 14x18x1ExactCustomM7-12 is a custom-cut, pleated MERV 7 air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Rated MERV 7, it captures 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. The filter media is electrostatically charged to improve particle attraction and is manufactured to resist moisture and inhibit bacterial and mold growth on the media surface. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant and built for a secure, gap-free fit. This filter ships in a 12-pack and is hand-cut to exact dimensions for units that require non-standard sizing.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, central air conditioners, and air handlers where standard nominal sizes do not provide a proper fit. The nominal size is 14x18x1, with an actual size of 14 inches by 18 inches by 0.75 inches. It is well-suited for homes with pets, allergy sufferers, or environments with elevated dust loads. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 1 to 3 months depending on occupancy, pet presence, and indoor air quality conditions. MERV 7 performance is comparable to filters rated MPR 600 on alternative manufacturer scales.
