The filter combines electrostatically charged synthetic media with a flat-panel activated carbon layer. The electrostatic media captures airborne particulates down to 0.30 microns, achieving capture rates above 90% for 1.0-10.0 micron particles and up to 85% for 0.30-1.0 micron particles. The activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOC) while maintaining adequate airflow. The nominal size is 14x14x4 inches with an actual size of 13.5 x 13.5 x 3.75 inches.
