The NORDIC PURE 14x14x1M13MiniPleat-4 is a MERV 13 mini pleat air filter sold in a pack of four, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. The filter carries a nominal size of 14x14x1 with an actual size of 13.50 x 13.50 x 0.75 inches, so it seats snugly in standard 14x14x1 filter slots. Its synthetic polyester fiber media is self-supporting and arranged in a high-density mini pleat configuration with 2.5 times more pleats than standard panel filters, increasing surface area for particle capture while keeping static pressure low. The two-part moisture-resistant beverage board frame holds its shape under normal HVAC operating conditions.
This filter is suited for residential homes and commercial spaces where occupant health, allergen control, or air quality during renovations is a priority. Installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners, it fits standard horizontal and vertical filter racks that accept a 14x14x1 nominal filter. Nordic Pure recommends replacement every 2 to 3 months depending on environment and usage load. Higher-dust environments such as active construction zones or pet-heavy households may require more frequent changeouts to maintain rated airflow and filtration efficiency.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems that accept a 14x14x1 nominal filter. Always confirm the actual filter slot dimensions against the stated actual size of 13.50 x 13.50 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual filter sizes frequently differ across equipment brands.
Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement so the arrow points toward the blower. HVAC technicians and service pros should verify the filter rack has no bent tracks or gaps that would allow air bypass around the filter media. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain trapped particulates.
