The NORDIC PURE 13x24x1ExactCustomM7+C-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC and furnace air filter rated MERV 7 with activated carbon media, sold in a 6-pack. It is built from electrostatically charged synthetic material that attracts and captures airborne particulates as conditioned air passes through. The carbon layer addresses odors in addition to standard particulate filtration. At MERV 7, this filter captures 50 to 70 percent of particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and baking flour. The nominal size is 13x24x1 with an actual size of 13 x 24 x 0.75 inches. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter in forced-air residential heating and cooling systems.
