The NORDIC PURE 12x36x1PM8C-6 is a pleated MERV 8 air filter with an activated carbon layer, sold in a 6-pack. The nominal size is 12x36x1 inches with an actual size of 11.88 x 35.88 x 0.75 inches. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV 8-rated filtration layer with a carbon layer, delivering 33% more surface area than standard pleated filters while maintaining low airflow resistance. This design captures airborne particulates and attracts odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to the carbon layer. HVAC technicians and facility maintenance staff install these filters in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

These filters are suited for residential and light-commercial HVAC applications where both particulate capture and odor reduction are priorities.
