Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 12x27x1ExactCustomM13-6 is a custom-cut, MERV 13 pleated air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Rated MERV 13, this filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and virus carriers. The filter media is electrostatically charged to improve particle capture and is manufactured using a moisture-resistant beverage board frame. Each pack contains 6 filters. These are hand-fabricated to exact dimensions and are not returnable once ordered.

This filter is built for forced-air HVAC applications including central air conditioning and gas or electric furnace systems in residential homes and office environments. The nominal size is 12x27x1 with an actual size of 12 x 27 x 0.75 inches. Because this is a custom-fabricated size, it may be constructed by cutting down or combining standard filter frames, and tape may be used in assembly depending on the dimensions. MERV 13 performance is comparable to MPR 2200 to 2400 rated filters sold by other manufacturers. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 1 to 3 months, or more frequently in homes with pets or allergy sufferers.

Compatibility

Designed as a custom exact-size replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems with a filter slot accepting a nominal 12x27x1 filter. Verify the actual opening dimensions match 12 x 27 x 0.75 inches before ordering. Custom sizes are not eligible for return.

Installation Notes
