The NORDIC PURE 12x24x4PM12C-6 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, designed for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV-rated filtration media with a carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while providing 33% more surface area compared to single-layer designs. The carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the pleated media captures particulate matter down to 1.0 micron. Each box contains 6 filters. A licensed HVAC technician or knowledgeable DIYer can install these as a direct drop-in replacement during routine filter maintenance.
