The NORDIC PURE 12x24x1M11MiniPleat-6 is a MERV 11-rated Tru Mini Pleat air filter sold in a pack of 6, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. The filter uses a self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber media that carries a MERV 11 rating, equivalent to MPR 1000-1200, capturing particles such as dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke particles, and virus carriers. The media is engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing surface area for higher particle capture while maintaining adequate airflow through the system. The two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame provides structural rigidity during operation.
This filter is suited for residential gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioning systems where nominal 12x24x1 filter slots are specified. The actual dimensions are 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches, which is the measurement that determines physical fit. HVAC technicians, plumbers servicing radiant-air combos, and building maintenance professionals commonly install these filters during routine preventive maintenance. The 6-pack format supports scheduled filter replacement programs. Replacement every 2 to 3 months is recommended, with shorter intervals in high-dust environments, renovation sites, or homes with multiple pets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial HVAC systems with nominal 12x24x1 filter slots. Always verify fit against the actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches, as nominal sizes printed on existing filters may differ from true measured dimensions.
HVAC technicians should power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or breaker before removing the existing filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Filters installed in high-humidity environments or near renovation activity should be inspected more frequently than the standard 2-to-3-month interval. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.
