The NORDIC PURE 12x24x1M11MiniPleat-2 is a MERV 11 mini pleat air filter sold in a 2-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. The filter uses a self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber media rated at MERV 11, equivalent to MPR 1000-1200, to capture fine particulates without restricting system airflow. The frame is constructed from a heavy-duty two-part moisture-resistant beverage board. Actual dimensions are 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches, which differ from the nominal 12x24x1 size printed on the filter. Installers should always verify the actual opening size before ordering.
This filter is suited for residential homes, apartments, and small commercial spaces where indoor air quality is a priority. The mini pleat design provides 2.5 times more media surface area than a standard pleated filter of the same frame size, supporting longer service intervals while maintaining efficient particle capture. It is commonly installed in return-air filter slots on gas furnaces, heat pumps, and split-system air handlers. Replacement is recommended every 2 to 3 months depending on occupancy, pet presence, and local air quality conditions. This pack contains 2 filters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement mini pleat filter for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems using a nominal 12x24x1 filter slot. Always confirm the actual opening measurement against the filter actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes frequently differ across equipment brands.
Filter installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified facility maintenance personnel. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before opening the filter compartment. Install the filter with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower and away from the return-air duct. Inspect and replace on a schedule of every 2 to 3 months, or more frequently in high-dust or high-occupancy environments.
