The NORDIC PURE 12x20x2PM12C-3 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 3-pack. The filter media fuses a MERV 12 electrostatic pleated layer with a carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while delivering 33% more surface area compared to standard single-layer designs. The activated carbon captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the MERV 12 media traps fine particulates including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and virus carriers. Installed in residential or light commercial HVAC systems, this filter is typically serviced by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable property owners performing routine maintenance.

This filter is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air heating and cooling systems where both particulate filtration and odor control are priorities. Installation Notes

Shut down the HVAC system at the thermostat before removing the existing filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Slide the filter fully into the slot to ensure no bypass gaps exist around the frame. Replace every 30 to 90 days, or more frequently during periods of high dust load such as renovation work or heavy pollen season.
