The NORDIC PURE 12x20x1M14+C-24 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 24-pack. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures fine airborne particulates while the activated carbon component adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOC). At MERV 14 efficiency, this filter captures particles down to the submicron range, including bacteria, mold spores, and fine smoke particles. The nominal size is 12x20x1 inches with an actual size of 11.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install these filters in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

This filter is suited for residential HVAC systems rated to handle MERV 14 filtration and above, including newer high-efficiency systems.
