The NORDIC PURE 12x16x1PM12C-6 is a pleated MERV 12 air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 6-pack. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV 12-rated filtration layer with an activated carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while adding 33% more surface area compared to single-layer designs. The carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while the pleated media captures fine airborne particulate matter. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts as a magnet to attract and hold dust. This filter is installed by HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners in residential forced-air heating and cooling systems.

The 12x16x1PM12C-6 fits standard 1-inch filter slots with a nominal size of 12 x 16 x 1 inches and an actual size of 11.5 x 15.5 x 0.75 inches. It is suited for residential applications where both odor control and high-efficiency particulate filtration are required - including homes with pets, smokers, allergy sufferers, or high dust loads. Installation Notes
