The NORDIC PURE 12x15x1CustomM13+C-12 is a custom-cut, MERV 13 plus carbon pleated air filter designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. Built from electrostatically charged synthetic filter media, it captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. The added carbon layer addresses odors and gaseous contaminants that standard MERV 13 filters do not target. Each box contains 12 filters. The actual size is 11.5 inches by 14.5 inches by 0.75 inches, slightly smaller than the nominal 12x15x1 designation, which is standard across the industry for proper slot fitment. HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance crews handle routine installations.
