The carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases, vapors, and VOCs, while the MERV 10 pleated medium captures airborne particulates. The filter media is permanently electrostatically charged and carries an antimicrobial treatment. The frame is constructed from moisture-resistant beverage board with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats.
