The NORDIC PURE 12x12x1M14+C-6 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter with activated carbon, sold in a 6-pack, designed for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures fine airborne particulates. A flat panel infused with activated charcoal is bonded to the assembly to adsorb odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The filter carries a MERV 14 efficiency rating, equivalent to an MPR 2800 rating, making it suitable for high-efficiency systems that require superior filtration. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter as a direct drop-in replacement during routine maintenance.

This filter is appropriate for residential and commercial HVAC applications where both fine particle capture and odor control are required. The MERV 14 rating means the filter captures a high percentage of particles in the 1- to 3-micron range, including bacteria, mold spores, fine dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke particles, dust mite debris, and smog particles.
