The NORDIC PURE 12x12x1M10MiniPleat-3 is a MERV 10 rated Tru Mini Pleat air filter sold in a 3-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. The filter carries an actual size of 11.75 x 11.75 x 0.75 inches and uses a self-supporting polyester media housed in a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame. With 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, the Tru Mini Pleat design increases usable surface area to capture airborne particles without restricting airflow. HVAC technicians and facility maintenance staff install these filters as a direct drop-in replacement during routine service calls.
This filter is suited for residential homes and commercial buildings that require effective particulate control at the MERV 10 level. The MERV 10 rating is equivalent to MPR 800-1000, making it appropriate for environments where lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores are common concerns. The polyester media resists mold growth, which supports better indoor air quality over the filter's service life. Nordic Pure recommends replacing filters every 2 to 3 months depending on environmental conditions, with more frequent changes advised during renovation or high-dust activities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial HVAC systems with a nominal 12x12x1 inch filter slot. Always verify the actual filter opening dimensions against the actual size of 11.75 x 11.75 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ across HVAC equipment models.
Air filters in forced-air systems are typically replaced by HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Always set the system thermostat to the off position and shut down the air handler before removing or installing a filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow in the system before seating the filter. Inspect the filter slot and surrounding cabinet for debris or bypass gaps that could allow unfiltered air to pass around the media.
