The NORDIC PURE 10x30x1M7+C-2 is a pleated MERV 7 air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sized nominally at 10x30x1 inches with an actual size of 9.44 x 29.44 x 0.75 inches. The filter combines electrostatically charged synthetic media with a flat-panel activated charcoal layer to capture airborne particulates while also adsorbing odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It ships as a 2-pack. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and a bonded metal mesh support grid reinforces the pleats. Antimicrobial filter media inhibits bacterial and mold growth. This product is manufactured in the USA and is rated equivalent to MPR 600.
This filter is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems, including central air conditioners and gas or electric furnaces. It targets environments where both particulate control and odor reduction are priorities - such as homes with pets, smokers, or recent renovation activity. The 10x30x1 nominal size fits a common range of residential air handler and furnace filter slots. Filters should be replaced every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions and system run time. More frequent replacement is recommended during home improvement projects or periods of high dust generation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems accepting a 10x30x1 nominal filter size. Actual filter dimensions are 9.44 x 29.44 x 0.75 inches - verify your filter slot dimensions against the actual size before installation.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified DIYers. Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating through the system. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of air movement toward the blower. Filters should be inspected regularly and replaced on a schedule appropriate to the site conditions.
