Nordic Pure 10x18x1ExactCustomM8+C-12 Merv 8 Carbon Filter

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 10x18x1ExactCustomM8+C-12 is a custom-cut, pleated MERV 8 air filter with activated carbon media, sized at an exact 10 x 18 x 0.75 inches. It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems - including central air conditioners and gas or electric furnaces - and is installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners performing routine filter maintenance. The electrostatically charged synthetic filter media captures airborne particulates in the 3-10 micron range at a rated efficiency of 70-85%, while the carbon layer addresses common household odors. This is a non-returnable, made-to-order custom size.

This filter fits systems requiring an exact 10 x 18 x 0.75-inch filter, rather than a standard nominal size. It is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, central air handlers, and split-system HVAC equipment where the filter slot does not accommodate a standard off-the-shelf size. The 12-pack format supports scheduled filter replacement cycles of 30-90 days depending on environmental conditions such as pet occupancy, construction dust, or high pollen seasons. Custom sizing means the actual dimensions match the listed size without the typical nominal undercut.

Compatibility

Designed for HVAC systems requiring an exact 10 x 18 x 0.75-inch filter slot. Verify your current filter actual dimensions with a tape measure before ordering. Custom sizes are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Installation Notes

Power down the HVAC system at the thermostat or disconnect before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the system airflow before seating the filter. Custom-cut frames may use tape construction and should be handled carefully during installation to maintain frame integrity. Replace every 30-90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions and system runtime.
