The NORDIC PURE 10x16x1CustomM12+C-12 is a custom-cut, electrostatically charged pleated air filter rated MERV 12 with an activated carbon layer. It is designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. The filter captures airborne particulates while the carbon component adsorbs odors and gaseous contaminants. At a nominal size of 10x16x1 inches with an actual size of 9.5x15.5x0.75 inches, this unit ships in a 12-pack. MERV 12 filtration captures over 90 percent of particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80 to 90 percent of particles between 1 and 3 microns. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter as a direct drop-in replacement during routine maintenance.
