The NOMACO PERISER1-A is a 1-inch anodeless meter riser designed for natural gas service line transitions from buried polyethylene pipe to above-grade steel metering connections. This fitting eliminates the need for a separate anode by using a coated steel riser body bonded to a cross-linked polyethylene (Xpoly) transition section. Gas utility contractors and licensed plumbers install this component at the meter set to bring the underground PE service line up to the meter assembly without creating a corrosion cell at the soil-to-air interface.
