The NIBCO px81130x is a 3/4 inch lead-free sweat adapter fitting designed to connect PEX tubing to copper sweat connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built to ASTM F1807 standards, this fitting provides a reliable transition between PEX supply lines and copper pipe using a standard sweat (solder) joint on the female end. Plumbers and pipefitters select this adapter when transitioning from PEX distribution lines to existing or new copper stub-outs, fixture connections, or valve assemblies. Its lead-free construction meets Safe Drinking Water Act compliance requirements for potable water applications.
This adapter is suited for use in residential potable water systems, in-wall plumbing rough-in, and retrofit projects where PEX tubing is tied into existing copper infrastructure. The F1807 crimp fitting end accepts a standard PEX crimp ring installed with a compatible crimp tool, while the female sweat end solders directly onto copper pipe or fittings. It is commonly installed during new construction, remodel work, and repair scenarios where a PEX-to-copper transition is required at a 3/4 inch line size.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 3/4 inch F1807 PEX crimp systems requiring a transition to copper sweat connections in potable water plumbing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off and depressurize the water supply before beginning work. The sweat end requires standard soldering tools and flux-core solder appropriate for potable water copper joints. The PEX crimp end requires a calibrated F1807 crimp tool and compatible crimp rings sized for 3/4 inch PEX tubing.
