The NIBCO px00658g is a PEX crimp reducing tee fitting manufactured to ASTM F1807 standards. It connects PEX tubing runs in a three-way configuration with a 3/4-inch inlet and two 1/2-inch branch or outlet ports. The reduction allows a main supply line to transition down to smaller branch lines without additional adapters. At 0.02 pounds, it is a lightweight fitting suited for both new construction and retrofit plumbing applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers for this type of fitting.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial PEX plumbing systems where a single 3/4-inch supply line feeds two 1/2-inch distribution lines. Typical applications include manifold branch runs, bathroom rough-in, and kitchen supply splits. The F1807 designation confirms compatibility with standard PEX crimp rings and the appropriate crimp tool for each respective pipe size.
Designed as an OEM-style F1807 crimp fitting for use with PEX-A, PEX-B, and PEX-C tubing in residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and ASTM F1807 guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Use the correct size crimp ring and a calibrated PEX crimp tool for each port dimension — 3/4-inch rings on the run port and 1/2-inch rings on the branch ports. Verify each crimp with a go/no-go gauge before pressurizing the system.
